Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Aeygis Technologies Inc. (“Aeygis Technologies Inc.,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with app-cadence.com (the “Site”) and the Cadence workforce management platform (“Cadence” or the “Platform”), a product of Aeygis Technologies Inc. This Policy applies to two distinct types of information, described separately below: (1) information we collect from visitors to the Site, and (2) information processed through the Platform on behalf of our customers.
1. Two Roles Aeygis Technologies Inc. Plays
It’s important to understand that Aeygis Technologies Inc. acts in two different capacities:
- As a Website Operator — when you visit app-cadence.com, request a demo, or fill out the “Talk to sales” contact form, Aeygis Technologies Inc. is the party responsible for that information, described in Section 2 below.
- As a Service Provider (Data Processor) — when a staffing or recruiting agency (“Customer”) uses Cadence to manage its own workers, candidates, and clients, Aeygis Technologies Inc. processes that data solely on the Customer’s behalf and under its instructions, as set out in our Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) with that Customer. Section 3 below explains this role.
2. Information We Collect as Website Operator
2.1 Information You Provide
When you fill out the contact form on app-cadence.com to request a demo or talk to sales, we collect your name, agency name, work email address, and any message you provide.
2.2 How We Use This Information
We use this information to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about Cadence
- Get your agency set up and onboarded as a Cadence client if you choose to move forward
- Send relevant product information related to your inquiry
- Improve our sales and onboarding process
2.3 Where This Information Is Stored
Inquiries submitted through the contact form on app-cadence.com are received by email at info@app-cadence.com. The website itself, along with its DNS and mail-routing records, is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure; the email inbox is hosted on Google Workspace. We are working toward direct storage of inquiry data within our AWS-hosted environment as part of our broader Canadian data residency approach.
2.4 Legal Basis and Your Rights
Aeygis Technologies Inc. collects and uses this information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may withdraw consent to further communication at any time, and you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details in Section 8.
3. Information Processed Through the Cadence Platform
When a Customer’s workers, candidates, or staff use Cadence (for scheduling, timesheets, onboarding, or client portal access), Aeygis Technologies Inc. processes that data strictly as instructed by the Customer, who remains the data controller responsible for that information. This may include names, contact details, SINs, IDs, banking details, employment and shift records, timesheets, compliance documents, and payment-related information necessary to operate the Platform.
Aeygis Technologies Inc. does not use Platform data for its own marketing purposes, does not sell Platform data, and only accesses it as needed to provide support, maintain security, and operate the service. Full terms governing this processing — including data retention, subprocessors, security measures, and breach notification — are set out in the Data Processing Agreement executed with each Customer. If you are an employee, candidate, or client of an organization that uses Cadence and have questions about your data, please contact that organization directly, as they control how your information is used.
4. Data Storage and Security
Cadence infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services in Canadian data centres, with automatic offsite backups.
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and a full audit trail of access and changes. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to:
- Service providers and subprocessors who support our operations (e.g., AWS cloud hosting, email delivery), under contractual confidentiality obligations
- Professional advisors (legal, accounting) as needed
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
6. Data Retention
Website inquiry data (from the contact form) is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to follow up on your inquiry and, if you become a client, to support onboarding, or until you withdraw consent. Platform data retention is governed by the applicable DPA; shifts, payroll, and invoice records are retained for 7+ years in line with Cadence’s compliant record-retention design (longer on request), with clean disposal procedures at end of retention.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Site and Platform are intended for business use and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Privacy Officer & Contact
